Southern California was having a storm with heavy winds and rains.
During a break from the rain, I went out front
to clean the sidewalk. That's when I found a
baby hummingbird that had been blown out of it's
nest! The wind and rain had whipped the
branches around and the babies fell to the ground.
At first
I thought it was dead until I picked it up and
felt slight movement in the palm of my hand.
The picture to the left
is of the actual hummingbird babies. Do you see the white color dots on
it's beak? That's the sugar water I was trying to feed them.
